Well it is hard to believe that Sugarloaf celebrated its 10th annual Bass Derby on March 28th 2009. It was the best one yet. Everyone had a great time and lots of bass were caught. We had another wonderful dinner at the Basshole Bar and Grill. Dave and Cheryl have been with us all 10 years as well. We can not thank them enough for all their support.
On a sad note we would like for all of our fishermen to please remember George Cook who passed way a few months ago. In the past 10 years he and his partner Frank Serrano won the derby twice. They were a joy to have around. George loved giving Rich Veit a ribbing about winning twice; he never let him forget it. Harold and I will miss him very much.
